Mandala 3
Acrylic paint on a board. The circle is divided into three portions by three shapes. Each of the three shapes stands equal to the others in holding one third of the viewers’ attention. The white tripcate would have been dominate, because of its position, in the middle, because of its sharp edges and whitishness, but there are details inside it that pull the focus of our eye under the surface so we no longer see its sharp edges.
